The questions worth asking.
- Do you take a share of my profits?
- No. Atlas is a software licence. There is no profit split, no performance fee and no revenue share, on any tier. What your account earns is yours in full.
- Is Atlas connected to my prop firm today?
- Not yet. Atlas ships with a paper broker on a simulated market and an explicitly unconfigured live stub that refuses every order. What it does have is the prop rule engine those firms grade you against — trailing drawdown, daily loss, consistency, minimum trading days — so you can develop against the same constraints. The prop-firm setup page states the current status precisely.
- What counts as a machine?
- One Windows install, bound to a hardware ID on first activation. Trader and Institutional Operator are single-machine; Founder Perpetual covers two. If you replace hardware, request a hardware-ID reset from the portal and an operator clears the binding.
- What happens if a payment fails?
- Stripe retries on its own schedule. When it gives up, the subscription moves to past due and your licence is suspended automatically: Atlas halts order routing on the next heartbeat and shows the reason on screen. Analysis keeps running read-only. Settling the invoice reinstates the seat without any action from us.
- Can I cancel?
- Any time, from the Stripe customer portal linked in your account. You keep access to the end of the period you have already paid for. Licence keys are non-refundable once generated — see the refund policy.
- Does Atlas guarantee I will pass an evaluation?
- No, and any software that tells you otherwise is worth less than nothing. Atlas enforces the rules an evaluation is graded on and refuses trades that would breach them. It cannot make a market that is not paying pay you.
